To start with, Firebolt fixes the druid’s complete lack of powerful ranged cantrips. This is a great set of additional spells. If you gain access to a spell that doesn’t appear on the druid spell list, the spell is nonetheless a druid spell for you. Once you gain access to one of these spells, you always have it prepared, and it doesn’t count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. When you reach certain levels in this class, you gain access to the spells listed for that level in the Circle of Wildfire Spells table. At 2nd level, you learn the fire bolt cantrip. Your link with this spirit grants you access to certain spells. You have formed a mystical bond with a wildfire spirit, a primal being of creation and destruction. That said, let’s dive into this brand-new circle, starting at level 2. Unlike the current selections of tree-friendly circles, Wildfire embraces the destructive facets of nature, granting the druid a set of fiery features that can damage their enemies or heal their allies. Wizards has now introduced a sixth option, the Circle of Wildfire. However, Circle of the Moon is so much stronger than its competitors that it feels like an actively bad choice to pick any other option. ![]() There are currently five subclasses available to players.
